Emily Joy Lemus is an industrious artist with an immense love for the movies. Ever since she was a toddler watching Julie Andrews’ films she has desired to inspire the same wonder she felt as a child into the world around her. With a passion for adventure and a panda bear plush in hand, Emily Joy left her Dallas roots at 18 years old in order to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles. Since her arrival in the City of Stars she has been featured in numerous films, including short festival winners and an Academy Award winning feature. Today Emily Joy can be found singing, watching movies, taking photos, sipping on a latte, or on David Fincher’s Mank poster.
Emily Joy hopes to lead a life that encourages others to pursue joy — It’s in her name, after all.
